August 7th — Bales Cup Dinner/Dance Date changed to Saturday 7th 2 x shot gun starts
The Bales Cup will be held on 7th August 2010, and incorporate the Parent and Child and the Visitors Day events. There will be two shotgun starts.
Although the event has traditionally required that the winners be a mixed pair, in this new format, that should probably be amended to allow any pair to win.
Most of the afternoon players will be in the Bales Cup, but so can morning players, who will have to pay the additional costs for the evening dinner and dancing.
Visitors playing in the Club competition will pay the usual visitors fee.
Visitors playing in the Bales Cup will pay the same as members, which of course includes for the dinner etc.
